The Dodge Viper (R/C) is powered by a 2-stroke engine producing 1.2 horsepower. With a top speed of 70+ kph (actual speed) this is more than just a toy. And not just performance, HPI's scale replica of the Dodge Viper GTS-R body series is simply awesome (see picture above). Bodies are made of clear lexan (polycarbonate) plastic, and are painted on the inside using lexan paints.

Performance wise, in a race from 0 - 60 kph, the R/C car would give the real 2000 Dodge Viper GTS-R a run for its money. Below is a picture of the performance tuned nitro rc car chassis. Note the 2-stroke engine, tuned pipe, oil-filled shock absorbers, rubber racing tires, 4WD, and a 2-speed transmission.
